Learn to focus on and paint the spaces around and between objects, rather than the objects themselves. This fun approach shifts your perception and helps you see shapes more abstractly - a powerful tool for improving both drawing and painting accuracy and composition.

The workshop will begin with a few drawing exercises, and move on to creating several paintings to cement the ideas. No experience necessary, and we will be working with primarily with watercolor and / or gouache.

There is a minimum student requirement of 5 students for this workshop - so sign up with your friends! Recommended for adults and older teens

We will start at 10:00 and paint till noon, take an hour break for lunch on your own, and come back from 1:00 - 3:00.

$150 per student - all supplies provided, though if you have a set of watercolors of your own that you love, you are welcome to bring them.
